HOW TO APPLY FOR
THE MIRANDA BRAWN DIVERSITY LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP
APPLICATION DETAILS

Important Dates:

Application opening date: 1st March each year 

Application deadline date: 30th June at 5 pm (GMT) each year 

Note: Scholarship applications sent after the deadline date will not be considered. You will have to wait until 1st March of the following year to apply.

Results Notification: The scholarship winners will be announced and awarded during the annual Diversity Leadership event and/or via email or post. Please ensure that you have registered to the annual Miranda Brawn Diversity Leadership Lecture event.

Duration of Scholarships: ​Scholarships are available until September of the following year. ​The Mentoring Programme commences in January of each year until September.

TO APPLY FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME

1. Confirm the scholarship sector and your name in the subject header of your email. Alternatively, hard copies can be posted to our address as per our contact page as we do not accept photographs of your application. Please email info@tmbdlf.com to inform us if you are sending your applications to our postal address.

2. Send your Curriculum Vitae (CV) no more than two sides of A4 paper (including your education)

3. Send two references (one has to be academic). References should not be from your family and/or friends.

References must consist of full names and contact details (i.e. email and telephone number). You can also send the written references if available. Please send these with your scholarship application. Further details are within our FAQ page.

4. A further one side of A4 paper highlighting:

(i) Your preferred scholarship category;

(ii) What diversity means to you and how we can close the diversity, equity and inclusions gaps; 

(iii) What you will do with the funding award;

(iv) Confirming your commitment to give your time and effort to complete the scholarship programme, and;

(v) Confirming your availability to attend the annual lecture event.

Please note: there is no application form to complete and incomplete or late applications as explained above will not be considered.
PLEASE SEND ONE EMAIL WITH YOUR FULL SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION TO INFO@TMBDLF.COM BY THE ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION DEADLINE DATE OF 30TH OF JUNE AT 5 PM (GMT).

Thank you for your interest in the Miranda Brawn Diversity Leadership Scholarship. To be considered for this scholarship, please complete the application process and note the below:

In submitting this application, I acknowledge that:

I have read and understood the eligibility criteria I must satisfy to qualify for consideration by the Miranda Brawn Diversity Leadership Foundation ("Charity") for the award of this scholarship;


As of this date, the information provided is, to the best of my knowledge, both accurate and complete;


I understand that should the information provided:
i) indicate that I am ineligible to be considered for award of this Scholarship;

ii) be incomplete to the extent that it is inadequate to prove eligibility to be considered for award of this Scholarship; or

iii) on further investigation by the Charity, proves to be inaccurate or misleading; 

I understand that the Charity reserves the right to reject this scholarship application without further consideration/explanation.

 

The Charity has sole discretion in awarding this scholarship and the Charity reserves the right not to award this scholarship and/or to withdraw this scholarship for any reason at any time prior to award of this scholarship; or following the award of this scholarship, for any non-compliance by the successful applicant.

 

This includes displaying any form of rude, disrespectful, and uncooperative attitudes. Respect, etiquette, and manners are key to be part of our Foundation family.
